Methotrexate treats acute lymphoblastic leukemia, non-Hodgkin lymphoma, osteosarcoma, and breast cancer as part of combination chemotherapy, and prevents or treats leukemia that spreads to the brain.
Do not use methotrexate if you are pregnant, as it can cause miscarriage or birth defects; women of childbearing age must confirm they are not pregnant before starting treatment.
