Fampridine is used to improve walking ability in adults with multiple sclerosis (MS) by increasing walking speed.

Do not use fampridine if you have a history of seizures, moderate to severe kidney problems (CrCl ≤50 mL/min), or allergies to fampridine or 4-aminopyridine (including past severe allergic reactions).
