Fluconazole treats vaginal yeast infections, oral and throat yeast infections, and cryptococcal meningitis. It is also used for yeast infections of the urinary tract, bloodstream, and other serious systemic infections.
Do not use fluconazole if you are allergic to it or any ingredients in this medicine. Avoid using with terfenadine at doses of 400 mg or higher daily due to serious drug interactions.
