Ribociclib is used to treat hormone receptor-positive, HER2-negative breast cancer. For early-stage disease (stage II-III), it is combined with an aromatase inhibitor to reduce the risk of cancer returning in high-risk patients. For advanced or metastatic breast cancer, it is combined with either an aromatase inhibitor or fulvestrant as initial therapy or after progression on other hormone treatments.
