Pregabalin is used to treat nerve pain caused by diabetes, shingles, or spinal cord injury. It is also used to help control certain types of seizures in patients 17 years and older, and to manage fibromyalgia pain.
Do not use pregabalin if you are allergic to it or any of its ingredients. Allergic reactions, including swelling of the face and throat, have occurred in some patients.
